Springfield, Vermont — The entire community is invited to participate in a unique “Food as Medicine” pop-up event on Thursday, February 29th at 6 p.m. The event will be held in the third floor Health and Wellness Kitchen located at North Star Health, 100. River Street, Springfield, Vermont.
The event will feature a live cooking demonstration from local chef and Vermont Academy food service director Jason Tostrup. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness Chef Tostrup demonstrate the preparation of vegetable fried rice featured in the “How Not to Die Cookbook.” Attendees will receive meal samples and experience first-hand how nutritious, plant-based foods are delicious and easy to prepare.
