A Nigerian banker, his wife and son were among six people killed in a San Bernardino County helicopter crash Friday night en route from Palm Springs to Boulder City, Nevada. Early Saturday morning, the FAA confirmed that six passengers were on board, with reports saying “no survivors were found.”
The Eurocopter EC130 helicopter with six people on board crashed east of the 15 Freeway near Nipton, just west of the Nevada border, around 10 p.m. local time.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the accident and its circumstances.
