Now in its 15th year, the prestigious annual ranking recognizes excellence across the international drinks industry, with an academy of 680 experts, including renowned mixologists, drinks writers and bar owners, selecting the best and Anonymous voting based on the most consistent overall experience. .
Reflecting the growing cultural diversity of the global legal industry, the much-anticipated awards ceremony was held in Asia (and outside Europe) for the first time. “We are very excited to be named among the World’s 50 Best Bars around the world. So which watering hole took home the top honor this year? Barcelona’s Ships took home the coveted title of World’s Best Bar, making it the youngest watering hole in the history of the award to take first place. It became a bar. Industry titans Simone Caporale and Mark Alvarez just opened Ships in 2021. Just two years later, the bar was called “The Best Bar in Europe” and “The Best Bar in the World.”
