As the new year begins, many people make resolutions. And a lot of it revolves around fitness.
Once you achieve these goals, it can be difficult to keep going. Jeremy Ellis, Owner and Head Trainer proper coaching In North Austin, we shared some Tips to help you stay on track.
“I think it takes consistency to maintain your goals throughout the year, and I think the moment you feel inconsistent, you lose sight of that,” Ellis said.
He said it’s important to set achievable goals and get help when needed.
At the stroke of midnight, the new year gives a clean slate to solutions that have long been elusive.

“What is achievable is always sustainable. If you can make a plan instead of trying to push yourself too hard, you can either talk to a friend, a training buddy, maybe a coach, or some kind of group fitness I think we’ll find some responsibility within,” Ellis said. “I think it’s definitely a way to help you set some goals and not only achieve them, but also maintain them.”
