Fans heading to the 2023 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Dec. 30 are advised to plan ahead for several game-day regulations.
The stadium has adopted modern payment methods and moved to a completely cashless system. This change is intended to streamline transactions and reduce latency.
Payments inside the stadium can be made using credit cards or mobile payment options such as Apple Pay. To accommodate those who don’t have access to these payment methods, Mercedes-Benz Stadium has 10 kiosks where you can exchange cash for prepaid debit cards without a fee. These cards are valid for in-stadium purchases and can be used anywhere VISA debit cards are accepted.
Another important change is the implementation of mobile ticketing. Admission to the stadium will be via mobile ticket only, with no options for PDF or print-at-home tickets. Ticket holders are encouraged to download their tickets to their mobile device via the Peach Bowl, Inc. app and present the barcode at the stadium gate.
Additionally, we will thoroughly enforce our clear bag policy and strengthen security measures. Allowed bags include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches, and small clutch bags. An exception will be made for medically necessary items, subject to inspection at designated gates.
Fans are reminded that items normally carried in diapers and baby bags must also comply with these standards. Baggage will be checked at the secondary security perimeter, but fans can bring items such as binoculars, cameras without cases, and smartphones.
The stadium will also have an increased presence of law enforcement and patrols from pre-schools to ensure the safety and security of all participants.
As the city prepares for this exciting event, attendees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable game day experience.
