Even more perks of being magenta.
Telecommunications carriers not only want to acquire new customers, but also want to retain users. Typically, this comes in the form of perks like occasional gifts or free streaming services, but T-Mobile is usually known for wanting to go above and beyond in this regard. The latest advancement in this direction is our new rewards program, in addition to all the perks and gifts we already offer.
T-Mobile has announced Magenta Status, a new benefits program that offers several additional benefits to T-Mobile customers. Previously, rewards came in the form of add-ons to plans or physical gifts, but this particular rewards program is a bit more similar to what you’d get from something like a premium credit card. In terms of practical benefits, customers can expect to receive services such as premium hotel rates, automatic upgrades to Hilton Honors Silver when staying at Hilton hotels, and hassle-free rental car returns with refueling included. Additionally, we offer discounted movie tickets, discounted Live Nation tickets, and ongoing sales through T-Mobile Tuesday.
The program is estimated to provide more than $1,500 in added value per year to each customer, and T-Mobile plans to continue to strengthen its Magenta status with more perks and benefits. It’s available to T-Mobile’s own customers, so if you have a prepaid MVNO line, you’re not eligible for this service. There’s no mention of whether this is limited to certain phone plans or available to everyone. If it’s the latter and you value the perks, you might love your line even more. You will be able to track all of your Magenta status benefits through the T Life app. This app was recently released as an alternative to the T-Mobile Tuesdays app and serves as a one-stop shop for all your offers. T-Mobile offers.
All details will be announced on February 11th, so be sure to keep an eye on T-Mobile’s website or app if you want to take advantage of this program.
